So Much to Do, So Much Other Stuff to Do

So I’m really wishing that I could make a career out of my hobbies. The problem is that I probably could, but I would most likely have to choose just one. Right now I’m in a creative mood, but I don’t have near enough time to work on everything and still keep my job. On my current list are:

  1. Write a book.
  2. Finish the book I’m already working on.
  3. Make an online portfolio.
  4. Redesign begrace.org.
  5. Write and record a new song… or two… or three… or four.
  6. Finish writing and recording the many partial songs that I have laying around.
  7. Learn how to use Live 5, my digital recording software.
  8. Learn how to sing better.
  9. Work on my piano skillz (or lack thereof).
  10. Teach Brooke guitar.
  11. Lose weight / get in shape.

Okay, so, as you can see, I probably don’t have the time or the energy to do even half of the stuff that I want to do. So, I’ll probably just continue being mediocre at a lot of different things. Or, I can quit my job and become a professional hobbiest for about a month until Brooke and I starve. Well, at least I can check “blog” off of the list…
