So I’m really wishing that I could make a career out of my hobbies. The problem is that I probably could, but I would most likely have to choose just one. Right now I’m in a creative mood, but I don’t have near enough time to work on everything and still keep my job. On my current list are:
- Write a book.
- Finish the book I’m already working on.
- Make an online portfolio.
- Redesign begrace.org.
- Write and record a new song… or two… or three… or four.
- Finish writing and recording the many partial songs that I have laying around.
- Learn how to use Live 5, my digital recording software.
- Learn how to sing better.
- Work on my piano skillz (or lack thereof).
- Teach Brooke guitar.
- Lose weight / get in shape.
Okay, so, as you can see, I probably don’t have the time or the energy to do even half of the stuff that I want to do. So, I’ll probably just continue being mediocre at a lot of different things. Or, I can quit my job and become a professional hobbiest for about a month until Brooke and I starve. Well, at least I can check “blog” off of the list…
